I watched Alien vs Predator Requiem today. It wasn't exactly like what I thought it would be. It just wasn't as much fun to watch as the first one. This one was more like Dante's Peak... even Dante's Peak is more fun to watch than AVPR.

Did you ever notice how the colon in a URL is used to separate the hostname from the port number? With VNC, the colon is used to indicate the display number, so that seemed kinda weird. To specify the port number, we have to use a double-colon so VNC can distinguish between a port number and a display number.

I looked up the new Lenovo Thinkpad X300. It's a thing of beauty and makes even the MacBook Air look like the past. It weighs the same as the MacBook Air but has an integrated DVD writer and an ethernet port. It's also got wireless USB. I noticed that they dropped the IBM badge that appears over the Thinkpad. I hope they come up with a tablet version of the X300 soon.

I'm back from my week-long holiday. It was lots of fun and I can't really say that the weather is as bad as they say it is. We've all seen worse. I met a couple of really cool people while on my trip too.

I've just added the episode summary of S2E04, Dark Angel. I must say that the 2nd season isn't as entertaining as the 1st season, which is probably why Fox decided to take the series off the air. I remember watching 'Love in Vein' (S1E14) and it was probably the worse of season 2.

I've been participating a lot lately in forums at ASP.NET and Experts Exchange largely due to my employment with a firm that deals with .NET based projects, but apart from that I've been writing the episode summary for the Dark Angel TV series. I've been a bit out of touch lately. I've been travelling and so haven't had access to the Internet. I visited West Bengal and spent a lot of time travelling by boat :-)
